The AVTECH Room Alert Flood Sensor Cable with attached leader cable is activated by liquid (i.e. water, fluid, etc.) making contact with it. The Flood Sensor Cable can detect as little water as a single drop. Once liquid is detected the Flood Sensor triggers an alarm condition allowing the Room Alert hardware, PageR Enterprise software and/or other monitoring application to send out alerts and/or take automatic corrective action.

This Flood Sensor Cable requires a Room Alert 26W, Room Alert 26WO or Flood Sensor w/out the Flood Sensor Cable. The Flood Sensor Cable can be extended by adding one or more 8´ Flood Sensor Cable Extensions (sold separately).
